In addition, Harper will be instated as CFO for DEI Holdings, Inc., parent to Sound United and other well-known brands in consumer electronics, like Viper and Autostart. In his role as CFO, Harper will help drive Sound United's continued growth and expansion as a leader in the custom installation, high-end audio, and consumer audio markets. Effective immediately, Harper is a member of the leadership team, reporting to Kevin Duffy, CEO and president of Sound United and CEO of DEI Holdings.
Prior to joining DEI, Harper served as president and CFO of Twin-Star International, a leader in the multi-functional home furnishings market, focusing on AV stands with electric fireplaces, wine coolers and speakers. With more than 20 years senior financial management experience, Harper has played many leading roles, including positions as CFO at Scottsdale Insurance, Suntron and Iomega. He also spent 15 years at General Electric in various financial positions. Originally from Northern California, Harper holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University.
