DENVER, Sept. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Definitive Technology®, a leader in offering high-end loudspeaker solutions, is headed to CEDIA Expo 2013 with four new, audio-enhancing products custom-engineered to produce the most immersive listening experience for consumers. The SoloCinema Studio sound bar joins the brand's flagship SoloCinema XTR and the Mythos ST-L SuperTower is a new rendition of the Mythos ST, while the Cube Bluetooth audio system and Incline desktop speakers mark a newer breed of premium loudspeakers—all designed with the sound aficionado in mind.

The sleek SoloCinema Studio sound bar complements today's slim TV designs while still producing fantastic sound to make viewers feel as much a part of their favorite movies and shows as the actors themselves. Featuring Dolby Digital® and DTS™ surround processing, five discrete channels with high performance speaker elements for each channel and 120 watts of power complemented by a 200-watt wireless subwoofer, the sound bar is designed to be the center piece of the living room. Additionally, the SoloCinema Studio includes Bluetooth and NFC capabilities enabling users to stream music from a variety of mobile devices. It will be available in October and retail for $1,119.
For full, rich audio outfitted in a clean, polished and attractive design, the Mythos ST-L SuperTower was crafted to produce evenly distributed bass and sound across a room. Slim, tall and available in black or limited-edition graphite silver, the Mythos ST-L is a redesign of the Mythos ST featuring three new patent-pending speaker technologies for enhanced sound across the audible range and integrated subwoofers, eliminating the need for separate subwoofers. In addition to remarkable sound, the Mythos ST-L is accompanied with a remote control, allowing listeners to adjust bass on-the-fly. Mythos ST-L will retail for $2,499 each and will be available starting October.
Marking the brands first foray into the desktop audio category is Definitive Technology's Incline speaker—a pair of compact, self-powered loudspeakers with a unique form factor to overcome the problems typical of desktop speakers. Incline features a backward tilt design to accompany modern desktop monitors and laptop screens as well as four drivers and a sophisticated Digital Signal Processor (DSP) for high definition audio when streaming videos and music. Additionally, Incline utilizes bipolar technology for sound that radiates in an omni-directional pattern to create more open audio. Incline will be available for $399 beginning October.
Finally, Definitive Technology will showcase its Cube Bluetooth audio system, a compact battery and AC-powered, wireless stereo loudspeaker with Bluetooth and NFC connectivity. Featuring proprietary tri-polar technology, the Cube houses speakers on two sides and on the top of the enclosure, producing larger-than-life audio, all within a minimalist frame. Retailing for $399, the Cube will be available in October.
"CEDIA Expo is the perfect platform for our brand to launch a new generation of high-quality speakers, sound bars and systems for technology and audio aficionados everywhere," said Michael DiTullo, Chief Design Officer, Definitive Technology. "Our team spent several months researching, engineering and testing each speaker to solve a variety of audio needs. What resulted was a new line of products that deliver a thoughtfully engineered design for users who appreciate a modern aesthetic to complement their home and superior sound for an enjoyable listening experience."
Definitive Technology will showcase all four speaker solutions at booth SR-8 of the CEDIA Expo. For media appointments or to meet with brand executives during the show, please contact [email protected].
