Defentect Group, Inc. Receives Follow-On Order for Its Radiation Detection System From Major Military Medical Center
GammaTect™ Sensors and DM3™ Platform To Be Used Facility-Wide
NORWALK, Conn., Jan. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Defentect Group, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DFTC), a developer and provider of immediate intelligent messaging software solutions, announced today the receipt of a second order from the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. GammaTect™ sensors had previously been installed in conjunction with Defentect's proprietary DM3™ technology and the system is now being expanded to several additional facilities across the campus. This order is a result of the success of the previously announced initial installation at the facility and signals an expansion of the protection plan being implemented on campus.
"We are pleased with the positive response that our technology has received from the National Naval Medical Center and that our platform has been chosen to expand this important security measure for our US Military," commented James Ackerly, CEO of Defentect Group, Inc. "Sensor technologies are constantly evolving; our DM3™ technology is sensor-agnostic and is the only response system compatible with any sensor available on the market. This makes our platform the clear choice for government agencies such as our military."
