BENTONVILLE, Ark., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Walmart (NYSE: WMT) announced today that it is defending wallets on complete gametime solutions with new savings on HDTVs and food for the annual pigskin party. This week for less than $500 customers can bring home a 1080p Sanyo 37-inch LCD TV and load up on a range of items to feed a party of eight. This "Gametime" event includes Rollbacks of $100, $200 and even $300 on select HDTVs and values on frozen appetizers, a supreme party tray and more.

A New TV for the Big Game: This time of year is typically a big season for HDTV shopping as moms and families get ready for sports viewing – from football and basketball to the winter games. Walmart is dispelling any myths that HDTV prices spike higher this time of year with a full line of new HDTV savings. Complete Gametime Feast for Eight for as low as $44: No football party would be complete without getting the barbecue fired up. This year one in eight moms plans to host a football party and one in five plans to attend a party for the big game.(2) To commemorate the 44th pro-football championship, Walmart is offering gametime staples for eight, including hot dogs, appetizers and more, for as low as $44.
