Morgan will join a panel of experienced leaders who will share key lessons on critical business issues in a discussion titled "Building Real Estate into Your Strategic Plan." The breakfast will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. and is sponsored in part by Think Energy, the GDF SUEZ Energy Resources business that serves small commercial electricity customers in the Maryland market.
Think Energy's sponsorship and participation underscore its commitment to providing small businesses with the knowledge they need to make the most informed decisions about their operations. In addition to Morgan, the panelists include Mindy Fang of Bank of America, Jane Brewer of KatzAbosch, and Robert Porter of Wagonheim Law; the panel will be moderated by Steve Shaw of Merrit Properties.
"There can be some real challenges and important considerations in choosing and developing the right real estate for a business, and energy usage and costs are prime examples," said Morgan. "An organization's ability to incorporate all of these considerations into a broader, overall business strategy can have a major impact on its success."
Morgan has more than a decade of experience in the energy industry and also spent 18 years in a family-owned small retail business. At Think Energy, she is responsible for Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Prior to joining Think Energy, Morgan was most recently Vice President of Retail Strategy and Analytics, and Northeast Sales and Marketing at a large retail energy company, overseeing strategic customer projects.
