DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation Appoints Jess F. Granone as Vice President of the Huntsville Operations
ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation announced today that Jess F. Granone has joined the corporation as an Employee Owner and appointed as Vice President of Huntsville Operations.
Mr. Granone will lead the Huntsville efforts in government and contractor customer support. He will provide business development and technical interface with government entities in Huntsville as well as the contractor community. Mr. Granone will provide technical and programmatic assistance to DAC employees supporting the Missile Defense Agency and other potential customers.
Mr. Granone has over 46 years of experience in the design, development and testing and evaluation of RF radars, laser radars, EO systems, missile systems and command and control systems. Prior to him joining DECISIVE ANALYTICS, Mr. Granone began his Federal Government career at White Sands Missile Range where he worked for the Office of the Test Director for Joint Electro Optical Countermeasures Studies. He tested and lead the testing of systems such as the Air Force laser guided bomb, TV guided bomb, IR Maverick, the Army TOW anti-tank missile, and the Navy Cannon Launched Guided Projectile. He came to Alabama in 1981 to work in the TOW Project Office as a staff engineer. He moved to the first Army tactical ballistic missile defense project office, the Joint Anti Tactical Missile Project Office at Redstone Arsenal where he was a radar engineer. In 1985 he served as a staff engineer in the Radar Directorate of the Ballistic Missile Defense Advanced Technology Center and later the US Army Strategic Defense Command. He became the Chief Engineer in the US Army Theater Missile Defense Program Office and later the Technical Advisor to the US Army Program Executive Office for Missile Defense. In 1995 he moved to the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Missile Defense and Space Technology Center as the Director of the Sensors Directorate. He became a member of the US Army Senior Executive Service in 1996 and was selected as Director of the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command Technical Center in 1999. He retired from Federal Civil Service in 2005 to become a consultant in the Huntsville area.
