DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation and SAIC Leading a Wide Field-of-View OPIR Limited Objective Experiment and Military Utility Assessment for the US Army

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., March 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) announced today that they are conducting a Wide Field-of-View (WFOV) Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Limited objective experiment and Military Utility Assessment for the U.S. Army. This experiment is to evaluate OPIR WFOV staring sensor technologies against validated requirements and measures of performance for the battlespace awareness mission and demonstrate rapid dissemination of sensor data to handheld devices. DECISIVE ANALYTICS Corporation and SAIC are working closely with Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Strategic Command (SMDC/ARSTRAT) to provide best in breed development and analysis to produce a comprehensive solution that shows the ability of OPIR WFOV staring sensors and related processing to be integrated with Army Space Program Office/Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (ASPO/TENCAP) WINDSHEAR Android TM handheld devices.
