Attendees at GlassBuild (September 10 to 12 at the Atlanta World Congress in Atlanta, Ga.) will have the opportunity to see several configurations of the ICON Series at Deceuninck's exhibition booth (#1301).
"Our new ICON Series is a collection of classic Deceuninck fenestration systems that have been packaged into a more approachable style for architects and specifiers," said Filip Geeraert, president and CEO of Deceuninck North America. "ICON gives us an opportunity to simplify the specifying process and work more closely with designers as we endeavor to engineer products to the needs of particular applications."
As an added benefit to architects, Deceuninck Architectural Services will provide assistance in determining which ICON product will meet the needs of each application. Deceuninck will also identify local fabricators that can manufacture the window or door to meet the specifications and requirements of an application. And with the company's full line of accessories (including structural mullions), each ICON product can be further customized.
"Understanding that ICON will be specified for commercial applications, Deceuninck will offer the series in a wide range of colors and finishes to meet the needs of just about any project," Filip added.
The ICON 3000 Series is the essential baseline window system with a wide range of styles and options available. The windows come in all of the popular operations and feature commercial performance ratings.
ICON 5000 Series windows are designed specifically for high-load applications. This includes impact resistance that meets coastal building code requirements and a patented sash-to-frame interlock to help keep the sash secure in high wind conditions.
ICON 7000 Series windows are high-performance windows with enhanced structural and thermal capabilities that include a multi-barrier triple seal system that helps reduce air and water infiltration.
ICON 8000 Series Doors are high-performance vinyl and polyurethane hybrid door systems with reinforced vinyl or glass-reinforced polyurethane made from Deceuninck's Rovex™ material technology.
The entire ICON Series is available with Deceuninck's Innergy® Rigid Thermal Reinforcements, which are advanced fiber glass reinforced resin inserts designed to fit securely into window and door frame chambers for greater support and insulation.
