NEW YORK, Aug. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Singer-songwriter Justin Hines has partnered with the American Red Cross for a new music video for his inspiring song "Tell Me I'm Wrong." The track is the first single from his U.S. CD debut, Days To Recall, just released on Decca. The clip was filmed in and around Joplin, Missouri, which was recently devastated by a massive tornado in May. The video demonstrates the region's resolve to rebuild despite their daunting challenges, as well as the commitment by the Red Cross to continue their tireless fundraising efforts for those in need.

Much like the victims of Joplin, Justin has also thrived against incredible odds. Hines has Larsen Syndrome, a joint dislocation condition that has confined him to a wheelchair his entire life. He admits his condition has created hurdles, but primarily sees the good it has brought him and the inspiration he can provide others. Hines has dedicated himself to various charities since launching his music career, including repelling off of one of San Diego's tallest buildings - in his wheelchair - for a local children's charity, as well as the "JustInspired" campaign launched in South Africa using his music. The initiative resulted in the makeover of 20 schools in 11 days, educating over 22,000 students.
August is a busy time for Justin. PBS begins airing his headlining concert special in major markets across the country featuring guests Ron Sexsmith and The Canadian Tenors, among others. "Tell Me I'm Wrong" is garnering noteworthy airplay at Adult Contemporary radio, and fall tour dates will be announced shortly in select U.S. cities.
Justin Hines' supporters run the gamut, from The Rev. Dr. Desmond Tutu who appeared in his "Say What You Will" music video as part of the "JustInspired" campaign, and Sheila E., who fell in love with his music upon first listen at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 where the two were performing.
