Dealmoon Goes Global for Singles Day 2017

UNION CITY, Calif., Nov. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dealmoon, the leading social shopping community for Chinese expats around the world, will significantly expand its annual Singles Day event this year with offers from more than 500 stores. And for the first time, Dealmoon's Singles Day will include offers from Australian brands and stores, along with those from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and China. Singles Day is Saturday, Nov. 11.
An estimated 6.3 million Chinese nationals currently live in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Australia; most have high incomes and prefer luxury brands and high-end retailers.

Singles Day was created by students at China's Nanjing University in 1993 as a celebration of pride for the unattached. Soon China's Alibaba made Singles Day a national phenomenon for Chinese consumers. Dealmoon's Singles Day 2017 event will reach millions more Chinese consumers living around the globe, starting with the company's approximately 20 million followers on Weibo and WeChat.
One brand to be featured on Dealmoon for the first time will be Belle & Bloom, a Sydney-based designer of genuine leather handbags and accessories.
