DDoS Security and Mitigation Expert Shawn Marck Joins Nexusguard as Executive Vice President, Product

SAN FRANCISCO, June 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nexusguard, the Worldwide Leader in Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Security Solutions, today announced the appointment of DDoS industry pioneer Shawn Marck to the post of Executive Vice President, Product.

Mr. Marck's duties are to lead product design and philosophy, manage market assessments, execute go-to-market planning, and act as a technical advisor. He will enhance the company's network strategy and design a network agile enough to meet the demands of the company's premium global operators.

Prior to joining Nexusguard, Mr. Marck co-founded Black Lotus Communications, the first large-scale DDoS mitigation network in the western U.S. As the Chief Security Officer, he brought to market protection solutions for networks and services, including the development of several patented technologies.
