To support continued growth, DDCA has announced the hiring of Steve Danon as Vice President of Public Relations. In this position, Steve will lead the DDCA public relations team as they create and implement media and communication strategies for DDCA's clients. For more than twenty years, Steve has worked in communications and public affairs providing insight on media and communications strategy. He has experience in international, national, and local media relations, public affairs, political campaigns, crisis communications, and grassroots coalition development. Steve has provided strategic counsel to large corporate clients, non-profits, trade associations, initiative campaigns, and political candidates. He also has provided key insight on a wide variety of policy issues, including energy, telecommunications, health care, housing, land-use, local government, transportation, the environment, and education.
Prior to joining DDC Advocacy, Steve served as Chief of Staff and in a senior role to three different Members of Congress. In addition, Steve was a partner in Benedetto and Danon Public Relations (BDPR), a communications firm focused on impactful public relations programs to targeted audiences. Prior to founding his own firm, Steve served as Vice President of Porter Novelli International, a global public relations firm.
