ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- DCS was awarded an Enhanced Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Sensor and System Capability Development contract on 16 November 2016. This single award contract has a 5-year period of performance to provide support to the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C.
Under this contract, DCS will conduct research that will ultimately provide a capability to reduce intelligence analyst workloads, enhance operator efficiency through reduced detection times, and enhance the capability to detect and track small high-value targets in cluttered environments. The detection and tracking of targets of interest will be accomplished by combining soft biometrics data with human detection, segmentation algorithms and machine learning.
