Dawson Geophysical Company Added To The Russell 2000® And Russell 3000® Indexes
MIDLAND, Texas, June 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dawson Geophysical Company (NASDAQ: DWSN) (the "Company") today announced that it was added as a member of the U.S. small-cap Russell 2000® Index and the U.S. broad-market Russell 3000® Index at the conclusion of the Russell indexes annual reconstitution, effective after market close on June 22, 2018. Dawson Geophysical also will be automatically added to the appropriate growth and value indexes, and will remain in the Russell Microcap Index.
The annual reconstitution of the Russell indexes captures the largest U.S. stocks at the end of May, ranking them by total market capitalization. The Russell 2000® Index measures performance of the small-cap segment of the U.S. equity market and membership in the index remains in place for at least one year. FTSE Russell determines membership for its Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.
