David Yurman Announces Opening Of New Store At The Mall At Short Hills

SHORT HILLS, N.J., Nov. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- American luxury jeweler David Yurman announces today the opening of its first boutique in New Jersey at The Mall at Short Hills.

Situated on the lower level of the mall, the new David Yurman boutique features a unique heritage wall that visually narrates the Yurmans' journey from art to jewelry with examples of David's early sculptures and Sybil's paintings, alongside current designs that evoke the brand's origins in art. The new space will feature a curation of David Yurman product across all categories, including Women's, Men's and Wedding.

Conceived by the Yurmans, the 2,000 square foot boutique reflects the brand's aesthetic and the family's unique artistic expression. The space will feature distinct design elements such as Travertine counters, antique brass, a black concrete storefront, concrete flooring and custom carpets. In the main area, artisan plasters paneling and walnut casework offer a subdued elegance, while rich white gold-leaf panels with various textures and patinas emphasize focal areas throughout the store.

Other distinct features include a men's jewelry area and two private salons. The men's space has a distinctly masculine feel created through the use of heavily textured charcoal plaster, blackened steel accents, live edge walnut counters and leather flooring. The boutique's private salon is designed in a unique curved shape, with pearlescent white custom wallpaper. White gold-leafed panels adorned with Blue Violet motifs, the New Jersey state flower, highlight the other private consultation area. Custom pendant light fixtures in antique brass are featured throughout the boutique.

The David Yurman boutique is located on the lower level at The Mall at Short Hills - 1200 Morris Turnpike, Short Hills, NJ 07078.
