David Martin joins CamberView Partners as Principal

SAN FRANCISCO, March 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CamberView Partners, LLC, the leading source of independent, investor-led advice for public companies on shareholder activism and engagement, announced that David Martin has joined the firm as a Principal. Mr. Martin brings to his new role at CamberView almost 10 years of combined experience in corporate governance and executive compensation advice.   He spent several years as a member of the corporate governance and proxy voting team at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

Prior to joining CamberView, Mr. Martin advised clients on annual and long term incentive plan design, compensation disclosure, and shareholder engagement while at Willis Towers Watson.  Previously, Mr. Martin served as Vice President of Business Development and Research at the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals, where he was responsible for creating and maintaining governance content for members, contributing to the Society's weekly newsletter, and managing new business opportunities.  Before joining the Society, Mr. Martin spent nearly seven years at Morgan Stanley, including as a member of Morgan Stanley Investment Management's Corporate Governance team, where he focused on proxy voting and portfolio company engagement.  Mr. Martin holds an M.B.A., with a concentration in accounting and finance, from New York University Stern School of Business.  He graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in History.
