David Lerner joins SHENKMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, INC. as Bank Loan Portfolio Manager
NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SHENKMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, INC., one of the largest independent managers of high yield assets in the United States, is pleased to announce the appointment of David H. Lerner as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Bank Loans. David, who is a former Managing Director and Portfolio Manager in Credit Suisse's Credit Investments Group, will lead the Company's bank loan business.

Mr. Lerner has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. He joined Credit Suisse in 2000 during the bank's merger with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ). Prior to DLJ, he worked at First Dominion Capital, LLC as a Senior Vice President. Before DLJ, Mr. Lerner worked at the Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation as a Vice President in their Leveraged Finance Group and, prior to that, at Banque Francaise du Commerce Exterieur as a Vice President in their Corporate Finance Group.

Mr. Lerner earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from The George Washington University.
