David Larsen Calls for Unity in 7th District Race with Hosford & Baker

GREEN BROOK, N.J., May 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Republican David Larsen is calling for the other two conservative challengers in the 7th District Congressional race to join forces behind him in an effort to oust liberal incumbent Leonard Lance in the June 8th primary.

"It's time for conservatives to unite behind the cause of ridding the 7th District of left-leaning Leonard Lance.  Mr. Hosford and Mr. Baker are men of great passion and hold the same Constitutional convictions as I do.  They both bring tremendous expertise and skill," says Larsen.  "But neither of them have the funding, the organization or the consultants that we have, which positions our campaign as the conservative movement's best hope of beating Lance in the primary."

Bill Sanders, President of the Mountainside Republican Club, agrees with Larsen.  "We have to be honest about electability.  Hosford and Baker have the right conservative ideas, but neither of them can beat Lance.  If Lon and Bruce are serious about removing a flip-flopping career politician, then it's time for the opposition candidates to unify and back Larsen, a proven leader who can beat Lance in the primary."
