ABOUT DAVID L. REDFORD
Mr. Redford has had more than 30 years of experience in the criminal justice field. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice and Sociology in the Social Science Division at New Mexico State University, teaching in the areas of anthropology, criminal justice, geography, government, history, psychology and sociology. He formerly taught online courses through the College of the Southwest. He is also a Municipal Judge with the City of Carlsbad, Carlsbad, New Mexico, where he oversees environmental programs, utilities, neighborhood services, parks and recreational facilities and streets and traffic issues. Mr. Redford earned a B.A. in Political Science from New Mexico State University and a M.A. in Social Justice Professionals, from the University of Illinois at Springfield, in 1981. He currently resides in Carlsbad, New Mexico, where he enjoys hiking, horseback riding and travel.
