David Hurst Joins Philadelphia Area Office of WeiserMazars LLP

NEW YORK, July 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- WeiserMazars LLP is pleased to announce that David Hurst has joined the firm as a Principal in its Financial Services Consulting Group. Mr. Hurst, who will be based in the firm's expanding Pennsylvania office, has twenty years of experience in business and IT planning and transformation. Mr. Hurst specializes in enterprise architecture and helps companies improve their performance through better technology investments, processes and governance.  As part of Mr. Hurst's addition, WeiserMazars LLP purchased the technology and intellectual property of Cogniscape LLC, a company founded by Mr. Hurst in 2004 that developed process and architecture visualization solutions.

Prior to founding Cogniscape, Mr. Hurst was a Senior Manager at Smart and Associates and Arthur Andersen where he led key client consulting projects.  He received a bachelor's degree in logic and the philosophy of science from Brown University.
