ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Command Information is pleased to announce David Helms as its Vice President for Cyber Security Engineering. Mr. Helms will be responsible for leading large-scale projects for government customers and the delivery of a strategic product development roadmap for Assure6™, an enterprise-wide policy manager for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6).
"On July 1st the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) will be updated to require all federal agencies to purchase computer hardware, and in some cases software, which has been certified for IPv6 readiness. David Helms, Vice President for Cyber Security Engineering, said, "I look forward to bringing my experience in cyber security, and specifically Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), to deliver solutions that meet the needs of the government. I am honored to join such an accomplished team and I'm ready to get started working together to address some very complex challenges."
Mr. Helms brings over two decades of hands-on leadership in technology companies, having run efforts in the areas of cyber security, DPI solutions, lawful intercept systems, identity management systems and biometric authentication solutions.
