David H. Evans Joins Chadbourne & Parke Antitrust Group

NEW YORK, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The international law firm of Chadbourne & Parke LLP today announced that David H. Evans has joined the firm as a partner in the Washington office in the antitrust practice.

Mr. Evans, 41, comes to Chadbourne from the Washington office of Arent Fox.  Mr. Evans chaired the ABA Section of Antitrust Law's Computer and Internet Committee and was a member of its Council.  He is currently chair of its Legislative Committee.

Mr. Evans' work has included representation in antitrust matters conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and civil and criminal litigation. He has also advised on issues related to compliance, standard-setting, joint ventures, Hart-Scott-Rodino and international merger regulation.

Mr. Evans' clients are from such industries as computer software and hardware, e-commerce, chemical manufacturing and distribution, automotive, medical equipment and oil and gas.

Mr. Evans received both his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 1995 and his B.A. from Northwestern University in 1991. He is the editor of an upcoming book on e-commerce and antitrust.  Additionally, he has served as a non-resident fellow at The Center for Internet and Society at Stanford Law School.
