David Draft Joins Signature Associates' West Michigan Team As Executive Managing Director/Principal

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., March 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Signature Associates, a Cushman and Wakefield Alliance Member, is pleased to announce that David Draft has joined the West Michigan team as Executive Managing Director/Principal, where he will be leading Signature Associates' four West Michigan offices into the future.

David comes to Signature Associates as an exceptionally capable and successful real estate executive with over 30 years in the industry.  Before joining Signature, David was the Chief Operating Officer at Sealy & Company, one of the largest private owner/operators of commercial/industrial real estate in the southeastern and south-central United States. 

Prior to Sealy & Company, David served with First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. for over 12 years, holding a number of senior executive positions, culminating with six years as Executive Vice President of Operations covering both domestic and international operations. These responsibilities involved oversight of over 110 million square feet of space, 1,200 buildings and 3,200 tenants across 35 markets. As a member of the Executive Management Committee, he was also involved in the acquisition, development and disposition of over $4 billion of industrial real estate. David had direct oversight for over 300 regional and corporate employees, whose responsibilities included portfolio operations and new business development.
