Dauphin Media Group Appoints Jack Huber to Associate Publisher of 'Holmes: The Magazine To Make It Right'
Industry Veteran Brings Key Experience from Rodale, Prevention and National Geographic
NEW YORK, Feb. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dauphin Media Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Huber to Associate Publisher for its recently launched shelter publication, Holmes: The Magazine To Make It Right.
Most recently, Huber was Advertising Director at The Saturday Evening Post, where he increased advertising revenue and ad pages since the magazine's 2009 re-launch and attracted more than 20 major accounts over the course of his tenure.

At Holmes Magazine, Huber will support the Publisher in the marketing and daily oversight of the publication, grow sales revenues and its substantial advertising base, and develop innovative ways to build the Holmes Magazine brand.
Huber brings with him more than three decades of industry experience, with notable successes serving as Western Ad Director, Vice President, and ultimately Publisher of Rodale's Custom Publishing division. As West Coast Manager of Reader's Digest, he was named its No. 1 salesperson and recognized in Ad Ages' list of Top 100 Salespeople. He has also served as Director of Integrated Sales & Marketing for National Geographic Society, Ad Director for Pinnacle Health Communications and Senior Sales Executive for Newspaper National Network.
Holmes, The Magazine to Make It Right, made its Canadian debut in November 2009 with an initial launch of 75,000 copies. Currently, it boasts a print run of 230,000 and is growing at an average rate of 1,500 paid subscriptions per week. Average sell-throughs are above 50%. The magazine will soon be introduced in the United Kingdom and Australia.
