As Datawatch Server is already pre-installed and pre-configured as a virtual application on AWS, companies can get up and running quickly with minimal infrastructure or IT administration costs. "You can now begin to visually explore big data in a matter of minutes," said Dan Potter, vice president of product marketing at Datawatch. "It's an easy way for users to get started in visual data discovery and as their needs grow, they can quickly expand their computing infrastructure on AWS to improve scalability and reduce costs."
Datawatch also announced the availability of pre-built data connectors to both Amazon Redshift and Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS). Users can now leverage these existing data sources or upload other data into AWS' secure and scalable warehouse for immediate exploration and visualization.
