As part of the partnership agreement, Dimensions Analysis will resell and provide implementation services for Datawatch's Monarch Report Analytics platform. Monarch extends overall business intelligence initiatives by enabling business users to consume and transform data that exists outside of data warehouses and relational databases – specifically, data that exists in static, isolated, reports produced by hospital information systems such as Meditech, McKesson, Epic, Siemens, GE Healthcare and others.
"By partnering with Datawatch, we're providing our existing clients and prospects with a new way to approach, extract, and integrate report data for use in business intelligence applications," says Garry McAninch, Principal for Dimensions Analysis. "By reselling Monarch's reporting solutions, Dimensions Analysis can reduce the time-to-value of a business intelligence solution for healthcare organizations by quickly extracting valuable data trapped in existing reports and integrating it with structured data from traditional database systems."
"Both of our organizations offer complementary reporting solutions, consulting and technologies that aligned together will permit healthcare organizations to rapidly implement healthcare analytics and a reporting infrastructure to gain valuable insight into such areas as quality of care, financial performance, and operational effectiveness," says Tom Callahan, healthcare product manager, Datawatch. "With the growing needs for healthcare analytics to fulfill reporting requirements such as Accountable Care, it's vital that healthcare organizations align their reporting strategies to incorporate a variety of methods for data extraction, integration, and presentment of healthcare analytics."
