DATATRAK Introduces Medical Imaging Capture To Their Enterprise Cloud
CLEVELAND, June 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DATATRAK International, Inc. (OCT Markets: DTRK) will unveil their newest eClinical solution at this week's DIA Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. Medical Imaging Capture will now be offered as an extension of their already comprehensive Electronic Data Capture (EDC) product. This offering will allow for automated capture of remote image files, de-identification, and integration of DICOM data directly into study eCRFs.
Once within the DATATRAK ONE's platform, the configurable dependency checks can trigger automated QA notifications and workflow actions across an unlimited number of user roles with customer specified configurable permissions. The power of the DATATRAK Enterprise Cloud Platform includes proprietary functions to capture and track data changes across time and to manage version-controlled files across patients, sites and studies.
"Medical Imaging and device data analytics play a pivotal role for our clients," says DATATRAK President and CEO, Jim Bob Ward. "Our role is to focus on the development of new and exciting innovations that advance the clinical trials process and enhance information for client product development."
"We saw a clear opportunity to leverage our platform and remote ECG experience to begin adding value to image device capture," says Tim Lyons, Vice President of Product Development for DATATRAK. "Given our advanced core technology, it was relatively simple to support this functionality with our platform. The information gathered from the user will naturally feed through our EDC, allowing alerts, dependency checks and reports to be run from the data. Our version controlled File Repository allows study team members to easily ensure they're accessing and working with the most recent image information. Most importantly, imaging files uploaded into DATATRAK ONE can be easily bundled with study subject eSubmission PDFs into a single study artifact package, which is downloaded in real-time from our platform."
"While we will officially unveil the offering at this year's DIA Annual Meeting, we have already been demonstrating the functionality to interested companies," says Scott DeMell, Vice President of Sales for DATATRAK. "We are very confident that we are creating something that is in-line with what the industry is seeking after hearing early feedback. We are excited to put this in front of even more potential users at DIA."
DATATRAK will be demonstrating their new Medical Imaging Capture ability at the DIA Annual Meeting in Chicago – booth 712. They are encouraging anyone interested to come to the booth for further details.
