DATABASICS' new API opens its expense reporting, time tracking and invoice processing services to customers and third-party developers
DATABASICS is publishing an API (Applications Programming Interface) to facilitate integration of its solutions with related systems
RESTON, Va., July 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DATABASICS has released an API based on web services empowering its customers and partners to independently develop interfaces to DATABASICS expense reporting, time tracking and invoice processing services. Expense reporting, time tracking and invoice processing are tightly coupled with numerous business processes including travel management, general accounting, project accounting, billing, purchasing and accounts payable, reimbursement, personnel management, payroll and others. Enabling data flows among associated systems promotes accuracy, efficiency, transparency and tighter control. The API broadens the options for data sharing for DATABASICS' customers and partners.
The API supplements the integration services DATABASICS typically provides in its customer engagements. The API is intended for customers that maintain internal programming resources to develop or enhance their administrative systems and for vendor organizations that wish to integrate their products with DATABASICS.
"DATABASICS Web Services API provides a toolkit for building client applications that retrieve and synchronize data with DATABASICS Expense and Time," explained Marcel Syriani, CTO of DATABASICS. "Internal IT organizations of our larger customers have been requesting this as have many of our partners. For organizations, though, that are looking for a ready-made solution, we will continue to take direct responsibility for their integrations."
DATABASICS' Expense Reporting, Time Tracking and Vendor Invoice Processing are the industry's most comprehensive, flexible, and fully-integrated solutions of their kind.
DATABASICS' customers represent all types of organizations: financial services, healthcare, mining and manufacturing, retail, hospitality, transportation, federal contracting, state government, education and non-profit. What they share is a need to significantly increase efficiency in managing their expenditures and labor for that they rely on DATABASICS.
