Dassian Inc. forming Dassian Strategic Solutions (DS2) to accelerate pace of innovation and better support clients in highly regulated project-centric industries.
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dassian Inc., today announced its formation of Dassian Strategic Solutions (DS2) LLC as a new company incorporated in Scottsdale, Arizona. Kevin Kane, Dassian Inc.'s current Chief Customer Officer, will assume the CEO role for Dassian Strategic Solutions while Simon Pugsley will continue as CEO of Dassian Inc.
The formation of the DS2 organization is based on the recognition of the market demand for deep Dassian and project-centric industry expertise in SAP® solutions to help customers meet complex business process and regulatory requirement needs. Further, the creation of a customer-facing organization will permit the Dassian team to accelerate the speed of solution innovation by working more closely with customers to solve their business challenges with standardized solutions delivered by the joint Dassian team.
"The new company structure will also enable Dassian Inc. to focus on new product development and ongoing UX refresh of the current product suite," said Simon Pugsley.
Dassian will be represented by both CEOs at SAPPHIRE NOW®, being held in Orlando May 16–18, 2017, in booth 1355. SAPPHIRE NOW attendees are encouraged to set up meetings with the Dassian executives during the event. Dassian continues to leverage the simplification innovations that SAP has made with screen personas and will be showing brief demonstrations of the company's new Simple Projects solution. Simple Projects is a new project management solution leveraging flexible and simplified user interfaces to support multiple user stakeholder needs when engaged in managing projects.
The streamlined focus areas of the new Dassian organization are aligned with other ERP solutions companies that optimize both customer solution delivery and product development with highly cohesive but distinct organizations. "This change is already proving beneficial for Dassian and our clients," said Kevin Kane. "We are experiencing increasing demand for Dassian solutions. The evolution of Dassian to the DS2 organization is the right strategy to enable Dassian to address the unique needs of project-centric industries and our clients."
"Dassian has been a long-standing innovation partner within the SAP aerospace and defense ecosystem. I think this change will help to further accelerate the pace of innovation and deliver even greater value for the customers in aerospace and defense," said Torsten Welte, global VP and head of Aerospace and Defense for SAP.
