Darryl Booth Appointed President of Decade Software Company, LLC.

FRESNO, Calif., March 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Decade Software Company, LLC, announces the appointment of Darryl Booth as President.

Decade's founder, Kevin Delaney, remains active as Chief Executive Officer continuing to work closely with staff and customers as a guide to the organization in new product innovation. Kevin will stay at the forefront of Decade's response to customer feedback as well as the improvement of processes.

In his role as Vice President of Decade Software, Darryl has been responsible for managing staff and product development. As President, Darryl's responsibilities will extend to assume many of the operational duties of Founder, Kevin Delaney.

Over a sixteen-year career with Decade, Darryl has served in the roles of Development Manager, Client Services Manager, Chief Technology Officer, Product Manager, and Vice-President.

Darryl's significant projects span the oversight of many software design and development successes, including the highly-collaborative design of EnvisionConnect and several Electronic Data Transfer (EDT) interfaces. Darryl's input has also been central to system implementations, project management, data conversion, training, user groups, documentation, and other key line-of-business activities.

By way of collaboration and technical advisory, Darryl is well known among the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), California Retail Food Safety Coalition (CRFSC), California Conference of Directors of Environmental Health (CCDEH) IT Committee, California Environmental Health Association (CEHA), Colorado Environmental Health Association (CEHA), Conference for Food Protection (CFP) Council II Committee on Standardized Data Collection and Electronic Reporting of Inspections, CUPA Forum Board, Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment (CDPHE) Lean Data Project Committee, and others. Darryl frequently speaks to user groups, working groups, and national associations on the topics of mobile computing, EDT, and data management.

Darryl is a graduate of California State University, Fresno and holds an MBA from the Craig School of Business. Darryl has also taught university courses as an adjunct professor.

As President, Darryl will continue his work with environmental health and public safety data management interests, guiding Decade's development of product and services by managing staff.
