Darnley D. Stewart Joins Outten & Golden LLP's New York Office
NEW YORK, May 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Darnley D. Stewart, who has been at the forefront of plaintiff employment litigation for more than 15 years and is a former President of NELA/New York, has joined the New York office of Outten & Golden LLP as Of Counsel to the firm.

Ms. Stewart has substantial experience and expertise in litigating a broad array of employment cases. She is also experienced in counseling employees and negotiating claims and disputes and employment and separation agreements.
Ms. Stewart was named as a finalist for "Trial Lawyer of the Year" in 2004 by the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. She has also been named as one of the leading 500 plaintiffs' lawyers in the country and one of America's top 1,000 litigators by Lawdragon magazine. Ms. Stewart has been selected for inclusion in New York Super Lawyers every year since 2006, among New York Area's Best Lawyers since 2011, and in Best Lawyers in America for 2014. Ms. Stewart graduated from Princeton University and received her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law. Prior to entering private practice, she served as Law Clerk to the Hon. R. Ammi Cutter and the Hon. Mel. L. Greenberg of the Massachusetts Court of Appeals.
She is admitted to practice in New York; before U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District of New York, for Massachusetts, and for the Western District of Michigan; and U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third and Sixth Circuits.
Ms. Stewart lectures regularly on employment issues, and has frequently commented in the media, including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, National Public Radio and the NBC Today show, regarding employment discrimination cases.
Ms. Stewart is a member of the Executive Board of Workplace Fairness, and is former President of the Executive Board of the NELA/New York. She also sits on the Advisory Boards of the Bronx Academy of Letters and NYU's Center for Labor and Employment Law.
