Darlene M. Burton Joins Avalon Healthcare Solutions

TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Avalon Healthcare Solutions today announced that Darlene Burton has joined its team in a key senior leadership role and will serve Avalon as Senior Vice President, Business Development. In this capacity, Darlene will be responsible for leading Avalon's sales pipeline development and customer acquisition activity.

Darlene comes to Avalon with a notable history of success. Darlene recently served as the Senior Vice President of Business Partnerships at Magellan Health Services for its specialty business division, National Imaging Associates, accountable for national business development activities across the national and regional Payor space. Prior to NIA, Darlene has held multiple business development roles with United Healthcare, including the Chief of Sales for Dental Benefit Providers and National Vice President of Middle Market Insured business. Darlene has also held leadership sales leadership roles at Cigna and Prudential Healthcare.
