(NASDAQ: DRIO), a leading global digital health company with mobile health and big data solutions, today announced it has launched the Lightning®-enabled version of the acclaimed Dario™ Blood Glucose Monitoring System in the Australian market. The Lightning®-enabled device ensures that Apple consumers "Down Under" will be able to connect the Dario smart glucose meter to the latest iOS handsets, including the brand-new iPhone X.
By some estimates, Apple iOS has over 55% market share in Australia, and DarioHealth expects to increase revenues in the Australian market with this launch. In addition, Dario blood glucose test strips can be found in major pharmacies across Australia, especially in New South Wales and Victoria, where it can be found in many of the leading pharmacies, including Priceline Pharmacy, Amcal Chemist, and Terry White Chemists.
