With a dedicated staff of over 2100 primary and specialty care physicians and 600 advanced practitioners and support staff, Mercy Hospital operates acute care, specialty care and critical access hospitals in communities across four states.

A manager of a thirty two bed medical-surgical and pediatric specialty unit, Darcy has been in her current role for a year where she specializes in healthcare management, informatics, patient education, pediatrics, nursing education and patient safety.

To keep up with the latest in the industry, Darcy remains an active member of the American Nurses Association, Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses, Infusion Nurses Society, Association for Nurses Professional Development, American Association of Moderate Sedation and the Society of Pediatric Nurses. Additionally, Darcy maintains affiliation with Sigma Theta Tau, Mercy Foundation and American Heart Association.

Graduating from East Central University with her Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Darcy went on to complete her Master's degree in Nursing from Walden University. Furthermore, she also holds certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support); PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); PEARS, (Pediatric Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization) Neonatal Resuscitation Certified and is a Certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. In addition, Darcy is a Certified Pediatric Nurse through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. (PNCB) She is currently pursuing her Doctorate degree.
