MENLO PARK, Calif., June 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- nlyte Software, the most technologically advanced provider of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software, today announced that NNIT, one of Denmark's leading IT consultancies, has selected the nlyte DCIM solution to help it migrate its existing equipment to a brand new data center facility to ensure increased performance and compliance with green legislation within its data center environment.

When making the move to its new data center facility, NNIT decided that it needed to overhaul the way in which it managed its data center assets. The consultancy previously relied on individually maintained spreadsheets and Visio reports to manage its resources – however, to ensure best practices, increase efficiency, reliability and sustainability, and to meet its own corporate objectives, NNIT required a solution that would provide real-time insight across its data center.

Working together with key supplier BMC Software in Denmark, NNIT narrowed down the search to the nlyte DCIM suite and a competitive offering from Aperture. The nlyte Control (workflow execution) module was also a key aspect of the decision, due to NNIT's focus on regulated industries.
