Danielle L. Franca-Shelley Recognized by Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Publication

SYOSSET, N.Y., Dec. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Danielle L. Franca-Shelley, of Rochester, New York, has been included in the Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Edition for her outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of education.

ABOUT DANIELLE L. FRANCA-SHELLEY

Mrs. Franca-Shelley has had over 10 years of experience in various aspects of education.  She is currently overseeing nine teachers as the Chair of the Fine and Performing Arts Department at McQuaid Jesuit, a private Catholic College Preparatory School for young men, in grades 7 through 12.  She is also the Head Varsity Coach for outdoor track and field.  Mrs. Franca-Shelley teaches percussion and string lessons, introduction to keyboard, guitar and music theory, percussion ensemble, arranging, composing and music technology, string chamber orchestra, select orchestra and jazz band.  She received a B.S. in Music Education from Roberts Wesleyan College and an M.A. in Educational Administration, from St. John Fisher College in 2005.  Mrs. Franca-Shelley is a member of the National Association for Music Education and the New York State School Music Association.  She is a professional drum set and keyboard player for "Nik & The Nice Guys".  She currently resides in Rochester, New York, where she enjoys playing and coaching soccer and track and field.
