Company's Thermal-management Components Enable Efficient Operation, Longer Battery Life, Faster Charging
MAUMEE, Ohio, Dec. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Dana Holding Corporation (NYSE: DAN) has been named the Best Battery Solution Provider of the Year by the China Decision Makers Consultancy (CDMC). The honor is in recognition of Dana's research and contributions to thermal-management technologies for hybrid-electric vehicles and battery-electric vehicles.
Through its Long® brand of thermal-management technologies, Dana produces customizable components for cooling systems that are designed to optimize the efficient operation of electrical systems, extend battery life, and allow faster battery charging. The honor was determined by a judging panel that included representatives from CDMC; China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd.; the Institute of Automotive Engineering Shanghai at Jiao Tong University; and the Center for Automotive Industry of the School of Automotive Studies at Tongji University.
