Dan Swartz promoted to Chief Operating Officer of DNAinfo
Former Chief Marketing Officer also named Executive Vice President; brings two decades of digital experience to new leadership role
NEW YORK, March 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dan Swartz, who as Chief Marketing Officer helped build DNAinfo into the leading source for neighborhood news and information in New York and Chicago, has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, DNAinfo founder and CEO Joe Ricketts announced today.

Swartz joined DNAinfo as its CMO in 2015. A veteran marketer with more than two decades of media, marketing, and technology experience, he previously held senior positions at Upshot, Harland Clarke Corp., SubscriberMail, The Carrotseed Group, and Peak Image Communications, which he founded.
