Dallas, Texas Named as Location for Solar Power International 2011
Emerging Solar Market to Serve as Location for Conference and Trade Show Managed by Solar Energy Trade Shows LLC, a joint venture between nonprofits SEIA, SEPA
WASHINGTON, March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Managers of Solar Energy Trade Shows, LLC (SETS) today announced that the Solar Power International (SPI) 2011 conference and trade show will take place in Dallas, Texas, at the Dallas Convention Center on October 17-21. SPI is the largest B2B conference and trade show in North America for the solar energy industry and was recently recognized by Tradeshow Week as one of the Top 50 fastest growing trade shows in the country. The 2009 conference had more than 25,000 attendees.

Formed in October 2009, SETS is a collaboration between the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA), the national trade groups that have co-hosted this event since 2004.
Besides the Solar Power International 2011 event in Dallas October 17-21, SETS will produce Solar Power International 2010, October 12-14 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and PV America 2011, April 3-5 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
