Dallas Charity Foundation Sponsors Holiday Party to Help Families in Need

DALLAS, Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The holiday season is quickly approaching.  For many, this is a time of family, friends, gift giving, parties, and abundance.  However, for some families and children in Texas, this means a time of worry and of need.  The Petya I. Edwards Foundation believes that this shouldn't be the case and is intent on making sure families and children who are facing homelessness as well as dire financial situations caused by illness or disability, still have a happy holiday season.

The Foundation, headed by President and Founder, Petya Edwards, is sponsoring the Holiday Sparkle Party at the Samaritan Inn on December 5, 2010.  The event is designed to be an exciting time, for parents and children alike.  Staff from the Troy Richard Salon will be on hand to provide makeovers to women attendees and gifts, games, and refreshments will be available to all participants.

"We are looking forward to hosting this wonderful event.  I believe all children, and all people, should have the opportunity to feel loved and cared about, especially during the holiday season.  For people who are in need, this can be one of the hardest times of year and we aim to alleviate some of the stress and want with this party," stated Edwards.

The Foundation is looking for assistance with the party and any individual or business who is interested in speaking about sponsorship or making a donation of gifts, party supplies, or other materials should contact the Petya I. Edwards Foundation and speak to a member on staff about requirements.  Alternately, the Foundation is always looking for volunteers to assist on site during events.
