Dallas' Caldwell Cassady & Curry Named to 2015 Elite Trial Lawyers List

DALLAS, Oct. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Dallas commercial litigation firm Caldwell Cassady & Curry has earned a place on The National Law Journal's 2015 Elite Trial Lawyers list, which recognizes an exclusive group of law firms that have won the largest awards for their clients.

The attorneys at Caldwell Cassady & Curry are well-known for winning some of the top intellectual property verdicts in U.S. history. Earlier this year, firm principals Brad Caldwell, Jason Cassady and Austin Curry worked with other firm attorneys to help Texas-based Smartflash LLC win a multimillion-dollar patent infringement verdict against technology giant Apple Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in Tyler. Apple has appealed the jury's liability finding.

In September, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit upheld a $15 million patent infringement verdict won by Mr. Caldwell and co-counsel from Dallas' McKool Smith in favor of Texas-based Summit 6 LLC. The jury trial against consumer electronics powerhouse Samsung Electronics Co. was heard in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
