Dallas Attorneys Charla Aldous, Brent Walker Named to 2014 Texas Super Lawyers List

DALLAS, Sept. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dallas trial lawyers Charla Aldous and Brent Walker of the Aldous Law Firm again have earned recognition on the annual list of Texas Super Lawyers, which honors the leading attorneys in the state.

In addition, Ms. Aldous is listed among 2014's top 50 women practicing law in Texas, and she also is among the top 100 lawyers in Dallas-Fort Worth and Texas. She earned those high marks based on the research and review process used by Texas Super Lawyers editors.

This marks the 12^th consecutive year that Ms. Aldous was chosen for Texas Super Lawyers and the second year for Mr. Walker. He previously was honored on the annual Texas Rising Stars list, which recognizes the state's top attorneys age 40 and younger. Both were selected to the 2014 list for their work in personal injury law.

Ms. Aldous has compiled verdicts totaling more than $750 million during her 28 years of trying cases that range from business disputes to sexual abuse claims. She has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for more than a decade, including the latest 2015 edition. She has been honored by Best Lawyers as Dallas Lawyer of the Year on two separate occasions based on her successful work in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. Both she and Mr. Walker previously have earned recognition in D Magazine's annual list of The Best Lawyers in Dallas.

To determine the Texas Super Lawyers honorees, researchers solicit nominations from more than 70,000 lawyers. A blue-ribbon panel of attorneys and the publication's editors then select the final honorees, who account for less than 5 percent of all Texas attorneys.
