SAN ANTONIO, July 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Daisy Castricone is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Real Estate field.
Castricone's professional title is Realtor at Century 21 Northside, which specializes in real estate. She has spent two years in her current position, working in the real estate business with her husband, Mark, and brings expertise in residential real estate to her role. She and her husband have earned outstanding recognition in their field, including being featured in the Top 10% of Agents in Real Estate by the American Institute of Realtors.
Born in Panama, Central America, Castricone knew minimal English upon immigrating to the United States. She worked hard to learn the language throughout her undergraduate years, and became a citizen of the United States upon her graduation from college.
Prior to starting the family's real estate business, Castricone served as a Major in the United States Air Force from 1994 to 2015. "She was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant on December 20, 1994, in the United States Air Force, and served as a Clinical Nurse in the Critical Care, MedicalSurgical, CardioThoracic and Coronary Intensive Care Unit from June 1996 to April 2001," according to her company's website. "She was instrumental in the transition from an eight bed ICU to a 28-bed unit at the beginning of the Iraq War, and was honored to be chosen by both the physicians and the family to care for and transport the first female POW of the war."
In 2015, Castricone was "selected as the Flight Commander of the Internal Medicine Clinic at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Care at Lackland JBSA, Texas," the website continues. "She directed operations and executed the FY business plan and budget of the Air Force's largest internal medicine clinic and graduate medical education program."
Castricone earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Niagra University in 1979. She then went on to complete her Master's degree in Healthcare Management from Touro University.
When not working, Castricone volunteers her time to the Ladies' Program at her church, as well as to several Veteran-based organizations. She also enjoys travel and cheering for her favorite sports teams.
Castricone dedicates this recognition to her husband, Mark; and to her children, Tiffany Lynn and Mark Anthony II.
