LOS ALTOS, Calif., Dec. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Daintree Networks®, Inc. won a 2015 Top Project of the Year Award from Energy Manager Today for its Energy Efficiency Project for Universal Music Group's new satellite office space in Woodland Hills, Calif. In its first year, the Energy Manager Today Awards recognize excellence in products and services, and projects that provide companies with energy benefits and increase the bottom line. Daintree Networks worked with Universal Music to retrofit their new facility with LED lighting, choosing Daintree Networks' ControlScope® networked wireless building control solution with data analytics to control and manage LED lighting and electrical plugs. This project included installing technology for daylight harvesting, dimming, LED lighting fixtures, and occupancy sensors. As a result, this endeavor is one of the first large-scale tenant improvement projects in Los Angeles.
One Energy Manager Today Awards judge noted, "The project is an excellent example of a wireless monitoring and management system which enables rule setting and control of all lighting and plug loads. The open protocol solution provides a number of benefits to clients and sets this solution apart from many competitors."
"We would like to thank the judges and our customer, Universal Music Group, for selecting our open standards-driven technology to enable their path starting with lighting and plug load control and leading to the Enterprise Internet of Things™," said Mandeep Khera, Vice President, Marketing and Channels at Daintree Networks, Inc.
