SAN FRANCISCO, May 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- At the intersection of education and technology, the online education market is currently experiencing rapid growth because of widespread internet access. According to research, the Chinese market size of children's online English education is projected to exceed five billion by 2019. As a leading EdTech company in China, DaDaABC has always been focused on the nature of education that puts people first.
"I always remind myself that people are the nature of the education industry. An old Chinese saying goes, 'Ten years to grow a tree, and a hundred years to foster a person.' We believe that we are obligated to provide the best for our children, and empower them to achieve more. On the other hand, we look for passionate instructors to join us," said Hui Zhi, founder and CEO of DaDaABC, "We hope to cultivate the children's interest in learning English, and to open up a new world for them through their learning experience. In doing so, we hope that they will be empowered to strive for more."
Instructors Dedicated to a Shared Mission
Our instructors joined DaDaABC for different reasons, but they are united by a strong sense of dedication to our shared mission. Some instructors are young college graduates; they are energetic and love trying new things. Matthew, a DaDaABC instructor based in Houston said, "Growing up in the United States, I was always curious about Eastern countries and their culture. Teaching at DaDaABC gives me a great opportunity to learn more about China. I believe that this goes beyond English education, and it is in the cross-cultural communications with my students that I gain a better understanding of China. It is also my mission to teach them other parts of the world: their history, culture, and mannerisms. All of this contributes to my pursuit of a lifelong career in teaching English."
We also have instructors that are stay-at-home moms. Not only do they love kids, but are experienced in interacting with them. Anna, a mom of two young kids and a DaDaABC instructor from Michigan said, "I never thought that one day I could have a job at home that I love so much. I love kids, and teaching these lovely children makes me feel younger. Though I work remotely, it is still a pleasure to be able to do something that helps and guides the next generation, and I'm grateful for DaDaABC for offering this opportunity."
Teaching Materials Bring Fun Into the Classes
DaDaABC's curriculum and accompanying teaching materials are at the same standards as those of international primary school, and is aligned with the teaching methods in Europe and the United States. The teaching materials can be distinguished into two categories based on the content: major and minor courses.
The major courses revolve around the actual learning of the English language, which is based off of the student's learning capabilities and proficiency level. As such, children of all ages can find course materials that will bring about the best results. The minor courses are a collection of interesting and engaging topics related to English, such as: art, music, film, geography, history, customs, and other aspects of western countries. These minor courses are designed to help children understand cultures and society at large through learning English.
"Delivering the best English learning experience is one of many essential goals, but it is not our ultimate goal. More importantly, we hope that our students, through our curriculum, can see the world, establish their own critical thinking, and learn practical skills," said Hui Zhi, "Both our students and our instructors mean a lot to us because we believe in our people. We are proud to play a part in guiding our next generation."
