LAS VEGAS, April 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- (ISC West Booth #23004) -- D-Link® today introduced its next generation Surveillance Mode graphical user interface (GUI), further enhancing its award-winning portfolio of business surveillance and networking solutions. D-Link's Surveillance Mode provides system administrators with an intuitive web based management interface for an easy way to set up, configure and manage D-Link's Smart Managed Switches – including the 10-port DGS-1100-10MP and the 26-port DGS-1100-26MP PoE models1.
D-Link's unique new interface makes surveillance features more accessible than ever. Users can choose between Standard and Surveillance Mode at any time, allowing them to choose the interface best suited for their specific requirements. In Surveillance Mode, a network topology map shows which devices are connected to which ports, and ONVIF device support enables the switch to auto detect both D-Link and third party IP Cameras and Network Video Recorders (NVRs).
"D-Link continues to design robust IP surveillance solutions, while enhancing ease of use and streamlining management for system administrators," said Steven Olen, product line manager, D-Link. "D-Link's new Surveillance Mode underscores our commitment to developing solutions designed specifically for video surveillance applications."
The intuitive Surveillance Mode GUI also shows details on PoE power utilization, device IP addresses, and provides easy access to troubleshooting tools built into the interface. Surveillance Mode allows for controlling and monitoring PoE functions, including remotely rebooting IP cameras or access points from anywhere on the network, even over the internet.
