Cyveillance Appoints Security Veteran John Wilson To Management Team

RESTON, Va., Aug. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cyveillance, the leading provider of cyber intelligence solutions, today announced the appointment of John Wilson as Executive Vice President. Wilson will be responsible for integrating new services into the company's portfolio of threat intelligence services, and building out a professional services team to satisfy the increased demands and needs of customers as they deal with gathering and analyzing threat intelligence. Wilson is also tasked with expanding Cyveillance's global partner program to further grow the business.

Prior to joining Cyveillance, Wilson served as Executive Vice President World Wide Field Operations, Qualys, where he led the global sales team, supporting vulnerability management, policy compliance and web application security solutions to commercial, federal, and international customers. In addition, he served as Vice President of Security Solutions for Verizon Business, driving enterprise security and compliance services within the US market. Prior to Verizon, Wilson held a variety of leadership roles within Fortune 500 and start-up companies as well as the US Army. He is a paratrooper and Gulf War veteran.
