REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Nov. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Cyprus Telecommunications Authority ("Cyta"), the leading provider of integrated electronic communications services in Cyprus, has selected the Oracle Rapid Offer Design and Order Delivery (RODOD) solution to provide a modern, digital business experience for their customers, employees and partners.
Cyta, a semi-governmental organization, provides a wide range of services and facilities for voice and data applications in both fixed and mobile telephony. The company continues to innovate to meet the ever-growing needs of its customers for new value-added content and multimedia services. For example, Cyta recently secured the audio-visual rights to the FA Premier League for Cyprus, for the football seasons 2019-2022.
"We chose Oracle for the breadth, maturity and completeness of its solution, its proven track record of helping CSPs achieve digital transformation, and the continuous innovation being delivered in Oracle Cloud," said Mr Chrysis Phiniotis, Cyta's CTIO. "As a result, we will be positioned to achieve measurable results in our highest priority areas, including faster offer time to market, shorter cycle times, improved operational efficiencies and improved Net Promoter Scores."
After identifying a wide range of shortcomings in its legacy business support systems (BSS), including slow-time to market for new offers, a fragmented offer design process, and a lack of digital customer engagement, Cyta knew it needed a modern approach. As part of its digital transformation efforts, Cyta will implement Oracle's RODOD solution together with Oracle's Customer Experience (CX) solution for communications.
With these solutions, the company will be able to quickly introduce new offers, execute agile marketing and sales campaigns, acquire and engage customers with services that are relevant and timely, efficiently deliver and flexibly monetize those services and empower their customers with information, insights and innovations.
"CSPs are recognizing the fast, powerful impact that a digital transformation can have in modernizing front office operations," said Doug Suriano, senior vice president and general manager of Oracle Communications. "Cyta employees will be able to provide their customers with a more effective, modern engagement for buying, order delivery, subscription monetization and personalized usage experience."
