Cynthia Hollen to Head eShopWorld's US Business as Company Ramps Up US Presence and Investment to Meet Demand

eShopWorld, one of the world's leading global eCommerce enablement companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Cynthia Hollen as President, eShopWorld US. Ms Hollen's appointment coincides with investment in a new headquarters for the company's US business and marks an important inflection point for eShopWorld following a decade of scaling its business by driving the global growth of premium US brands.

Total employment at eShopWorld is expected to double to c. 500 over the coming two years, with turnover expected to exceed $1billion by 2020. Hollen will have overall responsibility for delivering the company's US growth strategy, servicing clients that include some of the world's most iconic lingerie, fashion and sportswear brands.
eShopWorld connects premium brands with consumers in over 200 markets and has a significant presence in the US, Ireland, Continental Europe, Asia and Australia.
A specialist in end-to-end omnitail strategies, Hollen is the founder and former CEO of Knowledge Strategies Group, a strategic eCommerce advisory business she founded in 1995 before selling to NASDAQ listed 5B Technologies in 2001. Her experience straddles technology start-ups, PE and investor firms and many household names across fashion, finance, technology and healthcare.
Cynthia has also served as interim CEO (in 2015) for the Luxury Trading Club, a large online marketplace for luxury goods (yachts, autos, real estate) and as a Founder and executive director of SocialExtract (2011-2012), where she built a scalable Big Data, multi-channel social CRM service. She holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Computer Science and English Literature from Barnard College, Columbia University.
