The company's Founder, President and CEO Stuart McClure accepted the award at the Edison Awards gala held at the Capitale in New York City last night.

Cylance's innovative artificial intelligence and machine learning based endpoint security product, CylancePROTECT, was selected as the Bronze winner against the top industry competition. The distinguished awards, inspired by Thomas Edison's persistence and inventiveness, recognize innovation, creativity and ingenuity in the global economy.

Prior to accepting the award, McClure spoke to the Edison Awards audience about how risk is often required to achieve new in-roads with technology and innovation in today's world, which McClure has experienced first hand after leaving his previous role at McAfee to start Cylance in 2012.
